Tre Noci Italian Almond
Crunch, or "croccante," is one of our mother's family
recipes originating in southern Italy. Large, whole toasted almonds
are folded into a caramel butter crunch. Wonderful on its own, its
combination of subtle sweetness and a touch of salt makes it a perfect
accompaniment with red wine, an aperitif, coffee, or tea. It's also a unique dessert topping when crumbled over cheesecake or vanilla ice cream (with a splash of amaretto).
